Parent Letter

Dear Parents:

It’s time to start planning your children’s summer activities! New Colony is excited to announce our 25th year of Super Summer! We have an exciting four weeks of camp planned for children entering kindergarten through completion of 6th grade (age 12). The camp day begins at 9:00am and concludes at 12:00pm, Monday through Friday, on Weeks 1, 2 and 4.

*New This Year – Super Summer Evening Camp! In an effort to be more flexible in regards to parents’ schedules, New Colony is experimenting by offering one week of evening camp. Week 3, Arts & Crafts Week, will be held from 5:45pm – 8:00pm.

Week 2 Sports Week July 10–14 $25 per child $30 per child
Week 3 Art & Crafts Week* July 17–21 $25 per child $30 per child
Week 4 Music Week July 24–28 $25 per child $30 per child

The first week will begin on Monday, July 3rd. We will be led by a team from Cotton Flat Baptist Church for Adventure Week! The second week, July 10th–14th is Sports Week. Our host team is a group of college students from Georgia Send Me Now. *Next comes Arts & Crafts Week from July 17th–21nd, taking place at a new time of 5:45 pm-8:00 pm and will be hosted by our very own New Colony Baptist Church team. And finally, week four, Music Week, July 24th–28th, will be hosted by a team from Monaghan Baptist Church and conducted and led by our own Keith Wilcox. Our two summer missionaries are Bailey Old and Rebecca Rabun, who are college students from Georgia. Please join us to see some familiar faces, and meet some new friends.

We hope you will register your child(ren) for this fun opportunity to learn about God in a safe and loving environment. The cost is $25 per child per week before June 10th and $30 per child per week after June 10th. There is a $20 per child non-refundable registration fee, and each child will receive a Super Summer T-shirt.

Enclosed you will find a registration form, an emergency contact form and a copy of our discipline policy. A separate registration and emergency form must be filled out completely and signed for each child. Also, please take a few moments to go over the discipline policy with your child(ren) so they know what is expected of them.

Invite your friends and neighbors! Please feel free to make as many copies of these forms as you need. The more the merrier!

Our Refund Policy: Requests for refunds must be received in writing in the church office before June 10th to receive a 100% refund; before June 15th to receive a 50% refund. No refund will be available after June 15th. This policy does not apply to the registration fee.
